The Afterschool Company Program
Students will work with volunteers at Franklin Templeton Investments in San Mateo in forming, running, and liquidating a corporation. In this 12-week program, students will learn what it takes to raise capital, build a business plan, market a product, and build effective teamwork and leadership skills. This unique experience goes beyond the classroom and has inspired many business leaders in Silicon Valley.
• Students are asked to make this a permanent commitment in their schedule and attend all team meetings.
