Families and students!  Registration for the Spring 2016 AP Exams is now open.  We are using an online system that can be found: www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/053165.  Please look at the AP page for more information here about process, testing fees, and schedule.  

Knights on Ice!

Hey Knights! Come down to Belmont Iceland for a Knight on Ice on Saturday, February 27th from 8:30pm-10:30pm. Tickets will be sold for $12 in the Armory during lunch starting Friday, February 12th. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $15. Concessions will be sold at the rink and friends from other schools are welcome!

“Navigating the Tides of Adolescence” is a panel discussion on the challenges facing our teens today, including stress, mental health, and wellness. The panel will be moderated by Rachael Myrow of KQED. Panelists include Dr. Steven Adelsheim, Stanford child psychiatrist and Director of Community Partnerships at the Stanford School of Medicine; Gunn High School parent Kathleen Blanchard; and Julie Lythcott-Haims, author of the highly acclaimed book, “How to Raise an Adult“ and former freshman dean at Stanford University.

Welcome to the Best Summer Ever, 2016! This website is intended to be a One Stop Shop to inform parents and students of summer opportunities such as enrichment classes/programs, volunteer and internship opportunities, and work resources.  It will be housed on the Career Center page of the Hillsdale website.
 

It is a live document, meaning that it will be updated as often as the Career Center gets new information, and it can be accessed 24/7. Some of the information is time-sensitive, so be sure to check back often!  Drop by the Career Center to talk about any opportunities.

Practice ACT at Hillsdale

 

Attention Juniors - Take a full-length, practice ACT on Thursday, February 11 from 2 - 5:30pm. Registration is $5 (waivers available) and food will be provided. Two weeks later, you will get your results during a Tutorial session. Sign up with Ms. Burtness in the Career Center.

Construction Update:

If you have been by the school in the past month, you have noticed the construction that has started on the southwest corner of the campus. We are anxiously awaiting the completion of the 20 classroom facility that is being built, and which is due to be completed in about a year.
